Modern residential property complex of minimal aesthetics in Ampelokipoi.

It is an imposing residential property complex in the Centre of Athens, in Ampelokipoi. We were very happy to manage a plot with southwest orientation, with a large facade, in one of the high streets of Athens.

Great emphasis was placed on the location of the property and the utilisation of the orientation with main goal the privacy and permeability of the apartments and the optimal use of natural light.

The property, as a product of the synthetic process, faithfully follows the modern way of life and promotes a new generation of “dwellings” while at the same time impresses with its aesthetic imprint.

In this project we unfolded our passion for architecture, creating a property of minimal aesthetics, with clean geometric axes and large openings, achieving plasticity of form but also an architectural unity.

The white colour in the terraces in combination with the dark ones, the vertical metal elements that divide the apartments and the integration of artificial LED lighting, are used in such a way as to highlight the architectural conception through simple and clean engravings.

A particular challenge was the creation of a property of high standards and highest energy efficiency A +, which consistently serves the needs of its owners, with bright apartments that take full advantage of the orientations and large openings, strategically placed, based on aesthetics and functionality of the individual spaces.

The apartments are distinguished by ergonomics and functionality in all areas. The kitchens and bathrooms are individually designed for each owner and the choice of materials is based on the owner’s needs and preferences.

The maximum energy classification of the property A + is achieved by the installation of photovoltaic systems with the main advantage of energy offset, energy frames, thermal facade 10cm as well as heating and cooling heat pumps.

Ampelokipoi is ultimately considered one of the most pivotal transit spots in Athens since many vital bus routes and stations directly intertwine here. This area is also well-known and distinguished for its historic cinemas and movie theatres, some of them being Athinaion, Danaos and Galaxias. The bigger part of the area is utilized in a residential fashion, but there are plenty of restaurants, bistros and entertainment centres at Panormou, Kifisias Avenue and Larisis Street.
