Contemporary residential building,minimal aesthetics in Irinis Square, in Egaleo.
On a plot of land, in an extremely privileged position, facing Irini Square and with a strong element of green, we created a residential property that will impress with its architectural dynamism and minimal aesthetics.
Equipped with its excellent orientation, the green of the surrounding area and the open horizon, the property as a product of the synthetic process was placed towards the back of the plot.
The aim of this location was the complete utilisation of natural light and ventilation, but also the prospect of creating larger terraces and openings.
Based on the permeability of the apartments, supported by the shape of the plot, the synthetic placement of the staircase in a recess of the plot “liberated” the facades, so that the main building volume is integrated in a purely rectangular shape.
The use of a clean and simple geometric shape is reflected on the front of the property, creating a particularly dynamic form.
The design, while following the modern minimal trends, led to the use of surfaces in white colour tones and terraces in dark colours.
The potential of the form is expressed in the rectangular frames that gradually compose a double shell, thus creating a «fresher» architectural approach. The use of three-tone wooden panels that act as a filter for privacy but also as a filter for protection and shading and make the scale of the property more accessible also contribute to this.
The functionality of the spaces was an important design parameter, while the utilisation of the environmental conditions helped meet the energy needs. A particular challenge was the creation of a property of high standards, with the maximum A + energy rating, which consistently serves the needs of its owners, with bright apartments that take full advantage of the orientations and large openings, strategically placed based on aesthetics and functionality of the individual spaces.
The apartments are distinguished by ergonomics and functionality in all areas. The kitchens and bathrooms are individually designed for each owner and the choice of materials is based on the owner’s needs and preferences, with the constant support of our interior designers.
The maximum A + energy rating of the property is achieved by installing photovoltaic systems, energy frames, 10cm thermal facade and heating and cooling heat pumps.
